Keeping Our Staff and Children Safe

Your child shouldn’t have to choose between their health and education. To meet the needs of our students while adhering to the recommendations laid out by the Centers for Disease Control, Oakhill Day School has developed a strategic plan that keeps our staff, parents and students safe during this Covid global pandemic.

Dear Oakhill Day School Parents:

 

We are committed to ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our children and staff at our school.

As more cases of COVID-19 are reported, please know that we are adhering to all state and public health guidelines. We have precautions to protect the health of our students and staff.

The safety and health of all children and staff is our top priority. We will continue to follow the federal and state public health guidelines as they develop with regard to COVID-19. We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate with parents as necessary.

  • DISINFECT OUR SCHOOL

    We disinfect our school and busses nightly by spraying down all surfaces and fogging all rooms with highly concentrated disinfectant.

  • CLEANING PROTOCOL

    Maintain vigorous cleaning protocol throughout the day - wipe down tables, chairs, door handles, light fixtures, toys, and any items that serve as potential touchpoints for germs.

  • CLASSROOM SIZE

    All classes will be separated by 10 children or less.

  • HANDWASHING

    We promote active handwashing throughout the day.

  • SANITIZING

    Hand sanitizer is available throughout the school.

  • PARENT PROTOCOL

    Currently parents are allowed in the building for pickup/drop-off only, and are limited to 15 minutes in the building.
